To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Syd Mead Incorporated, the world-renowned Visual Futurist has released a limited edition poster entitled Village Machine.

The print is exclusively available through the Gamma Proforma store. A2 in size (420mm x 594mm) Lithographic print on 200GSM elemental Chlorine Free FSC Certified pulp. Only 500 are available, so grab one while you can! Worldwide postage is available for the flat rate of £3.95 and payment via PayPal is also available.

Syd Mead Announces Sentury II Art Book

World renowned artist and ‘Visual Futurist’ Syd Mead has announced the release of Sentury II, the highly anticipate follow up to 2001′s Sentury (a now out of print and highly sought after item).

Mead is a prolific artist, working in many areas such as architecture, feature film (Tron, Bladerunner), industrial design and automotive design to name a few. Details on what will be included are limited at this point in time, but its safe to say (based on all off his earlier publications) that this 176 page book will be packed full of stunning artwork and designs for a not-so-distant Future.

The official release date has been set for October 1, 2010, but the book is currently available for pre-order through Amazon.
